Added user to metrics-report-run role but couldn't see Metrics link

I just added a user to the metrics-report-run role as documented in the Connections Wiki.

I expected to see a link to Metrics if logged in with this user but I didn’t:

I deleted the browser cache, server cache, restarted servers… no success

Funnily enough I could access Metrics through the direct link http://connectionsserver.com/metrics!?

Finally I decided to check security role mappings for all apps and found another metrics-report-run role for the Common app.

I added the user to Common app as well and logged in again, voilà:

Btw. same is true for global-moderator role (Moderation).
