Blackberry and IBM Connections: Via field doesn't conform to RFC2616

We had some strange issues with BB trying to connect to our Connections environment.

Whenever we used a WLAN on the BB everything just worked fine but without WLAN we

got a nice little error:

Via field doesn’t conform to RFC2616

We are using a caching proxy and we thought that the issue was related to the proxy settings.
